Enjoy delicious Michigan fruit pies made with fruit from Crane's Pie Pantry, located in the back of a barn on Crane Orchard's working fruit farm. The piecrusts are made from a secret family recipe and are rolled and crimped by a dedicated crew of pie makers, led by the Crane women.
The food is homemade right in the kitchen, situated above your head in what once was the hayloft. Choose from homemade soups, sandwiches and salads. All the breads and buns for the sandwiches are made fresh every day.
While you are there, check out their unique collection of antiques and memorabilia found in every nook and cranny throughout the restaurant.
During the fall, check out the 15-acre corn maze and spooky barn. Each year features a new maze design, offering new challenges. Check out the haunted maze open from dark to 10pm weekends beginning in October. Price is $12 per person. (Not recommended for 12 years and under).
Crane Orchards offers u-pick and already picked fruit from September 2 and continues throughout the apple-picking season. Open 10am-6pm (daily) depending on weather. Call 269.561.8651 for exact dates and times and for updates on apple picking.
