Zoo exhibits are primarily North American wildlife, including Wolves, Cougars, North American River Otters, Bald Eagles, Red Tail Hawk and Elk. Also a Reptile house which includes Alligators, Pond Turtles, Tortoises and a wide variety of snakes.
Phillips Park Zoo is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily, year round, but is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
To ensure the safety of our animails we ask that visitors observe and practice all zoo rules: Tours of the zoo are offered during the hours of 9am-2pm Monday through Friday. All tours must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. Self-guided group tours are encouraged, though to avoid scheduling conflicts please contact the zoo manager. |
