BaySail was established in 1998 with the purchase of the 85-foot schooner Appledore IV. In October of 2002, BaySail purchased the 65-foot schooner Appledore V. BaySail offers several exciting adventures on the water where you can enjoy catered dining, fireworks and stunning sunsets! Join them for an unforgettable evening of sailing on the Saginaw Bay, by selecting one of the following adventures: Dinner Sails – Enjoy an unforgettable evening of sailing at sunset on the Saginaw Bay. A fully catered three-course dinner served onboard is included. Stargazer Sails – Enjoy a special live program presented onboard the Appledore IV by astronomers from the Delta College Planetarium. View the constellations, listen to star legends, learn to navigate by the stars, hear the words of poets and enjoy the beauty of the night sky under sail. Bay City Fireworks Festival Sail – View of the renowned Bay City Fireworks display from the “best seat in the house.” Includes a three-course meal served onboard.
