Children's Zoo at Celebration Square Spend the day with animals while strolling through beautiful gardens.
1730 S. Washington Ave. There’s always something interesting to see at the Children's Zoo at Celebration Square. It’s the place to go for an exciting adventure! Many special events and theme days are planned at the Zoo each season. How about Breakfast with the Animals, Ice Cream Zoofari or Train Days Pancake Breakfast? Guests can see animal presentations, feedings and enrichment activities presented by the fabulous Animal Collection staff! The Awareness Amphitheater shows take place each day during the season. Each show highlights a different animal, along with fascinating animal artifacts and provides interesting information, answers to audience questions and may include the opportunity to touch the animal presented. The Adopt-a-Garden Program started with 11 gardens in 1998. Today there are over 100 Adopt-a-Gardens in addition to seasonal planting beds and a canopy of trees that add color and beauty to the Zoo landscape. Each year the gardeners get more creative with their garden beds, adding sculpture, garden art and colorful annuals. The gardens have certainly become one of the Zoo’s highlights. Guests regularly tell us how much they enjoy them. Children’s Zoo is the premier place in the Saginaw Valley for entertaining and educating children.
