GarLyn Zoological Park
This family-friendly zoo has both native and exotic animals in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. W9104 US-2, Naubinway, MI 49762 For an entertaining and educational adventure, visit the GarLyn Zoological Park on US-2 in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. GarLyn Zoo is a small "mom and pop" family-owned business, started in 1994. The zoo sits on a 30-acre parcel of land and blends well with the natural surroundings of the Upper Peninsula. For the most part, the zoo has been built by hand and most of the trees and the terrain have been left as nature intended. Built in a natural park-like setting with cedar mulched trails to walk on as you pass under mature pine trees towering 60 to 80 feet above you. No concrete jungle here! Animals at the zoo include both native animals like black bear, wolves, bobcat, whitetail deer, cougar, river otter, raccoon, skunk; and exotic animals from around the world such as wallaby, Patagonian cavy, ring-tailed lemur, reindeer and many more. Grain can be purchased to hand feed many of the animals. Visit their web site for a discount coupon good for 10% off your visit to GarLyn Zoo.
