Creating an educational environment for the conservation of wildlife.

1301 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Lansing, MI 48912

The Potter Park Zoo is home to over 100 species of animals, many of which are threatened or endangered, including Siberian Tigers, Black Rhinos, Red Pandas, Bali Minah Birds, Snow Leopards, Tamarin Monkeys, Bongos, Aldabra Tortoises and many more.

The Potter Park Zoo is open year round and is situated within Lansing in Ingham County's Potter Park. The park offers a scenic landscape next to the Red Cedar River, where you and your family can have a picnic, go biking, jogging, in-line skating or take a walk. It's a great place to relax and spend some time.

There are lots of things to see and do at the Potter Park Zoo! If your children enjoy learning about wildlife, they can take one of the ZooKambi (summer education programs) or become a Teen Keeper! Book a tour of the zoo and get much more out of your zoo experience.

Throughout the year, the zoo offers special events, such as Wonderland of Lights, Boo at the Zoo, Migratory Bird Day, L & L Food Days and the American Cancer Foundation's Run for Life.

Potter Park Zoo is here to help you get the most out of your wildlife adventure!
