Submit an Event for Consideration

this website and in our publications is as current as possible at time of inclusion.
It is suggested that you always call ahead to confirm dates, times and locations before planning any trips.

Backyard Excursions is pleased to provide our readers with things to do “close to home.” If you host a fair, festival or event and you would like us to consider including it in an upcoming issue of the Backyard Excursions Travel Ideas Resource Guide or on this website, please complete the information below.

There is no limit to the number of submissions you may make and we will attempt to accommodate all submissions, but cannot guarantee inclusion. All submissions must be received at least six weeks prior to date of event. You may submit events up to a year in advance.

Where space is at a premium, events submitted by our Travel Partners will be given the highest priority and non-profit events will be given higher priority over for-profit events.

We also encourage you to submit photos of the event. Email your photos to info@backyardexcursions.com. Be sure to include name and date of event in the subject line.

Backyard Excursions reserves the right to accept or reject any submissions. Submits should appeal to visitors from "out-of-town" not just local residents. Events with a local-only appeal such as sidewalk sales, community anniversity celebrations, lectures, fashion shows, etc. will not be considered.
